Local Kids Make It Big
Mathew, Reid, and Charlie, 3 kids with a dream. On an early morning in March of this
year, Reid had an idea, Charlie had a vision, and Matthew had a plan. All three had
braces at one point, and they wanted a better way to brush their teeth with braces. Junk
would frequently get in between their teeth. Charlie told me, "We all wanted a better
way to get in between our braces to get junk out of them. All other products we tried
just wouldn't get the job done, so if you want a job done right, do it yourself. So
that's what we did." Charlie is also the company's spokesperson. He told me that the
company's goal is to provide a better way of brushing with braces. Because he and his
friends had to go through that, and they don't want anyone else to experience that.
In mid-March, the three friends decided to found a company named MRC LLC. As we talked
to Reid and Matthew, they said, "Our goal is to make a Waterpik head that is bendable
and has a brush head so you can use the Waterpik and brush your teeth at the same time."
Since then, they have completed their first product and are now on their way to Shark

MRC LLC. designed a Waterpik toothbrush head that is used to get under and around your braces. The
design is a connected Waterpik with toothbrush bristles around. The water is used to help clean plaque
off your teeth. Its a new product never been seen on the market before. You use it like a normal
toothbrush, but it sprays water to get plaque, and especially food. The brush will need to be charged,
but it will last a long time.
